- Do I have to meet any residential/demographic requirements to get DISH Network?
- You will have to reside in a residence within the continental United States to get DISH Network from Sterling Satellite. We are currently unable to sign up new customers in Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico; however, limited service is available in those areas directly through DISH Network or local authorized retailers.
- Can I get DISH Network outside of the United States?
- No. DISH Network is only available in all 50 states and U.S. territories.
- How do I change to an alternate audio or language output?
- Changing the audio output depends on the channel, receiver, and remote used. Most changes can be made through the menu of the receiver. Learn more about changing the language in this helpful video.
- What is a Service Access Fee?
- The Service Access Fee is assessed on accounts that do not maintain a basic level of programming. These situations usually involve very specialized programming choices which cost more for DISH Network to deliver than basic programming. This small charge allows customers greater access to programming choices while keeping everyday costs low.
- Can I substitute channels in my DISH Network package?
- No. DISH Network packages do not allow for substitutions. You will receive the channels that are included with the package that you select. You can add channels by selecting another DISH Network package or by adding international programming, premium movie channels, or specialty channels.
- Is there any way to add individual channels to my DISH Network package?
- There are some channels that are available on an a la carte basis, but for the most part, channels are only available as part of a package. Many international channels, premium movie channels, and specialty networks are available as additions to DISH Network packages.
- What languages do you offer programming in?
- We offer programming in a number of languages. Please see our international programming page for additional information and a complete list of the languages and countries that DISH Network carries programming from.
- What is SAP and how does it affect my programming?
- SAP stands for Secondary Audio Programming and allows you to hear an alternate audio stream for the program. Many times, the SAP track is a Spanish language track.
