A Mother Knows Best
If there is one group of people whose opinion America is in need of, it’s celebrity mothers. The famous moms of our fabled nation, who chaperon their kids to school in their Mercedes before heading off to the massage parlor (which they probably own), have been forced to funnel their omniscience to hour-long programs such as ‘The View”.
But that is all about to change, as TVSquad is reporting that CBS has announced “The Talk,” a new daytime talk show starring some of our most beloved TV mothers, like Sara Gilbert.
You remember Sara Gilbert, right? She’s third from the left in the above picture.
The show will replace the long running daytime soap opera “As the World Turns,” (which taught us more about life than virtually any other television program) and will center around a group of famous moms as they talk about the topics rocking today’s world: North Korea, the BP oil spill, Euclidean versus Riemannian geometry.
Joining the former star of “Rosanne” will be several other celebrity mothers including Sharon Osbourne, the wife of rock god Ozzy Osbourne and judge on “America’s Got Talent,” and Leah Remini, who played opposite of Kevin James in the hit TV show “King of Queens” and apparently, is a practicing Scientologist. Finally, we will be able to dive into the mind of a Scientologist, minus the couch jumping. Xenu bless us.
Catch the show this fall on DISH Network channel CBS.
