TLC Preps 4 New Shows for Summer

This summer, TLC will debut four new shows and premiere one new season of a returning favorite. Check out the third season of Cake Boss and newcomers Mega Bites, Food Buddha, Inedible to Incredible and Cupcake Dreams.

Yummy Treats on “Cake Boss”

Cake Boss, which has the premiere of its third season on May 31st at 9pm ET, follows the business at Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, NJ. See some of the tastiest treats ever concocted and watch as the Valastro family takes a trip to Italy. The bakery will celebrate 100 years of business with a block party on June 19th.

World’s Largest Food on “Mega Bites”

See attempts to make the world’s largest versions of many foods on “Mega Bites.” This new TLC special take a look at the process that goes into every food related world record attempt. From recipe to engineering to eating, each step of the activity will be detailed. The world’s largest Rice Krispies treat will be created by chef Brian Malarkey, engineer Scott Stukel and food scientist Todd Menaker to raise money for the La Canada Flintridge community. This great new TLC special premieres on June 7th at 10pm ET.

“Food Buddha” Tries One of Each

Tag along with Chef Rodelio Aglibot as he visits cities, tries three restaurants and orders one of each off of each menu. Throughout his journey, he’ll be accompanied by a local food guide, sample everything in sight and learn the personal stories behind the chefs he visits with. At the end of each episode, Aglibot will return home to his own restaurant, Sunda in Chicago, to devise a brand-new dish based on what he tasted and learned in the other city. See this special when two half-hours premiere on TLC on June 14th at 10pm ET.

Learn To Reform Your Kitchen Skills with “Inedible to Incredible”

Go from “blah” to “WOW!” when you learn how to overhaul your skills in the kitchen with “Inedible to Incredible,” a new series on TLC. See chef John Besh teach his students ho to rehab their recipes and make struggling cooks masters of their meals. Friends and family will nominate those whose skills are lacking and try to get them the help that they so desperately need. See “Inedible to Incredible” Mondays at 10pm ET beginning on June 21st.

Sweet, Sweet “Cupcake Dreams”

A new six-episode series, “Cupcake Dreams,” follows two sisters who are also business partners, Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis. They own and run Georgetown Cupcake, a small Washington D.C. cupcake shop. See how they made their passion into a profit business that could be described as sweet success.
